Decent swimming pool Hotel basic amenities beds were clean, room just about so, lot of debris on carpet. Seemed like a transport hotel everything j about passable, don’t expect any frills. Breakfast have had worse but not for a while. Don’t like giving negative reviews this is the best I could do.

Rooms very clean, bed comfy and shower good. Good breakfast with a good selection of foods, both hot and cold. The restaurant closes in the evening at about 9pm and other than a vending machine there is nowhere else to get food. We were on a coach trip which got to the hotel just before 9pm, which meant other than 2 passengers who went straight to the restaurant, none of us were able to eat

Just stayed overnight with a Leger coach holiday. Some misgivings since there were a number of adverse reviews but our tour leader recommended the hotel, saying it ticked all the boxes and I must say I agreed with him. As a solo I was allocated an adequate double room near reception which was fine apart from a faulty soap dispenser. Good hot shower, comfortable bed, clean room and easy chair. A quiet night and excellent full English breakfast, freshly cooked, with warm crusty bread and my test of a good kitchen, lovely flaky croissants and Danish pastries. Some other guests I spoke were also pleased with their stay. I would be very happy to revisit

Nice SUPER helpful staff Basic Room. No frills, which is fine... ...but the Restaurant (which used to be excellent) is now to be avoided. The quality of food on offer is now very poor. 3 out of 10 (now) 9 out of 10 (3 years ago)

The property is a little ware worn but clean & comfortable. Staff & restaurant were excellent.

The personeel were very friendly and helpfull. On our 2nd day we were too late for breakfast but it was no problem for the lady at the reception,we got what we wanted and could sit in the bar to eat,no rushing us to finish,we have not found that in other hotels .

My trip was organised by my daughter’s work as a Christmas shopping weekend to Liège staying at the Globales Post Hotel. The hotel itself was adequate for our purpose. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the attitude of the staff was very poor, surly and unhelpful. There was no milk in our room so I rang reception to ask for some and was told to go to the bar. I went to the bar and had three little pots thrust into my hand from a silent and unsmiling member of staff. We were informed brusquely that we were not allowed to order from the a la carte menu. “Non, that is your food” we were ejected from the dining area and told to go to the bar for after dinner drinks where there were no seats available resulting in us having to cut short our evening and when my daughter asked for ketchup for her breakfast the following morning, she was told no despite knowing they did have some. If the hotel doesn’t want to cater for coach parties, then they shouldn’t accept the booking. I do realise that there were probably discounts given for a large party which may have had a bearing on the attitude of the staff BUT….that doesn’t excuse us being treated like second class citizens. We, the party, didn’t negotiate the deal, we just innocently went on a weekend break only to be shabbily treated. On the plus side, the food was acceptable and plentiful and the facilities were good. The less said about Liège itself the better. I would not go back if I was paid to.

Probably 3.5 stars but rounding up to be kind! As all the reviews have said it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and the rooms are a bit dated but it was clean, the service was great and the restaurant was pretty decent. We were on a Leger coach tour so had the chance to visit little Belgian towns during the day so didn't feel the need to go into Liege in the evenings. The bar area is nice enough and the restaurant also pretty decent but the menu was a bit limited after three consecutive days but perfectly fine. The same staff look after the bar and restaurant and they were superb. There seemed to be some local diners which is a good sign. I wouldn't look to return particularly but if you're on a coach tour and get allocated here it will do the job perfectly.

The hotel is tired and run down. Poor noise insulation from the corridor and other rooms. The condition of the property was not reflected in the price.
